J&B is a brand of blended Scotch whisky produced by Diageo. The brand name is a contraction of Justerini & Brooks, the name of the company that originally created the blend in the 19th century. The blend is made from a combination of 42 different whiskies, mostly from Speyside, which are aged for a minimum of 6 years. The whiskey is known for its smooth and easy-drinking flavour profile with notes of fruit, honey and spice. The brand is considered a standard in the blended scotch category, it is widely available in many countries and it's considered one of the best-selling blended Scotch whiskies in the world. J&B is typically consumed neat or on the rocks, but it is also used as a mixer in cocktails.
